How To Prune A Yucca Cane Plant

These plants dont generally need to pruned but trimming of the lower skirt can be done in Spring to remove and dead or unwanted leaves. Cut the leaves with sharp shears 4' above the base after the Yucca blooms.

Yucca Cane Care

Look for an area with medium to bright light. The yucca cane will tolerate low light conditions but will grow slightly slower and not require as much watering. You will need to keep watered when the top surface starts to dry out. Typically about 1 inch below the surface.

Keep your yucca fertilized with our slow release fertilizer. The fertilizer will feed the plant slowly over time and encourage growth.. Yucca's like a more humid environment. Be sure to not place your plant over an air vent to prevent it from drying out.
