Planting Instructions
Preparation – free the planting surface from debris and prepare the ground so the seed can make direct contact with the soil. TurboTurf Tall Fescue performs best in the Transition Zone and temperate climates.
Installation – plant the seed using either a mechanical spreader or by hand at the specified rate. Spread evenly, then cover the seed lightly with peat moss.
Water – keep the seedbed moist until the germination process is complete. Water approximately twice a day for the duration of 10 minutes each time.
Mow – first mow when the grass blades reach 2 1/2" to 3" in height. Keep the mower blade sharp to avoid damaging the new growth.
