This yellow rose will be blooming the very first year! Our roses are full size and ready to plant. Blooms change from bright yellow to creamy yellow as they mature.
Plant in a hedge? Why not, the Sunny Knock Out® Rose will make a really cool-looking colorful hedge that stays low. Or plant in clusters for a powerful change in color. These yellow Knock Out Roses will bloom all summer until the first frost.
This Knock Out® Rose also has nice fall color. The leaf color is purple with an orange tint. The Sunny Knockout Rose has extraordinary resistance to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and other diseases. It is an extremely hardy rose!
Prune your roses in the winter months down to about 6 inches from ground level to maintain vigor and strength and thin out branches.
Be sure to select the right location for your Rose bush.
Planting Time: Any time of the year, taking care to avoid the most extreme temperatures in winter and summer.
Sun: Full to part sun
Soil: Adaptable, but not overly sandy. Well drained
Watering: Water in well when planting. Keep soil moist for the first month. Once established, allow soil to dry before watering.
Fertilizing: Slow release fertilizer twice per year in early spring and again in summer.
Pruning: Drift and Knockout Roses do not require pruning. However, pruning can help maintain vigor and strength as well as encourage better blooming. We recommend pruning back, leaving about 1 foot for Knockout Roses and pruning about 1/3 to 1/2 back on Drift Roses.
Are you looking to add tons of color to your landscape? Our Sunny Knock Out Roses are forever blooming with tons of color. They are great in a natural area, to accent other plants, or used in a backdrop. Space your new knock out rose bushes about 4-6 feet apart when planting in clusters or anywhere you want space between plants and 3 feet apart when planting a hedge. Knock out roses can be used just about anywhere.
