Another gorgeous addition to the Endless Summer® Collection, the Blushing Bride Hydrangea may just steal the show! With 3 seasons of large, white blooms that mature to a subtle pink or blue tint, there isn't anything else like it!
The Endless Summer® Blushing Bride® is a best seller and one of our very favorites. This new variety is as tough as they come, easy to care for, a compact, manageable size at only 3 to 4 feet tall and wide, and, of course, most importantly, a drop-dead knockout.
The Blushing Bride Hydrangea grows in full sun to part shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. In warmer climates, this hydrangea requires some shade. You don’t need to prune hydrangeas, but pruning after they are done blooming can help encourage bushier growth and renew an older plant. The Endless Summer® series bloom on new and old wood.
The Blushing Bride is a pest and disease-resistant hydrangea. So there is little to worry about with this low-maintenance plant! Just water and sit back and watch this beautiful shrub transform your landscape and your home!

When Should I Prune This Shrub?
After the blooming season, prune stems that haven't produced leaves by mid to late May and all pruning should be completed before July in preparation for the new blooming season which is late spring to fall.
What Are Good Companion Plants For The Blushing Bride?
Viburnum, loropetalum and hostas are great to pair in a mixed bed or cottage garden with this hydrangea shrub.
When planting your Blushing Bride Hydrangea be sure you have the right location and conditions for your new plants to thrive. Spring and fall are ideal times to plant Hydrangeas. Avoid planting hydrangeas in summer when temperatures are mid-80s or higher.
The Blushing Bride Hydrangea grows in full sun to part shade and prefers moist, well-drained, fertile soil. In warmer climates, hydrangeas will do best with some shade. If you have alkaline soil and want a blue hydrangea, be sure to amend your soil. To acidify your soil, amend with aluminum sulfate or elemental sulfur. If you are seeking a pink color, add lime several times per year. Keep the soil moist, but not saturated, especially in summer and in the first year after planting. Throughout its life Hydrangeas will do best with a deep watering once weekly during hot temperatures. Mulching at about 3 inches deep is highly recommended for hydrangeas. Mulching will cut back on watering needs and protect your plant in extreme temperatures. Choose a slow release fertilizer for flowering plants. Fertilize once in spring after the last chance of frost and again in early summer for best results. You don’t need to prune hydrangeas, but pruning after they are done blooming can help encourage a bushier growth and renew an older plant. The Endless Summer® series bloom on new and old wood.
