How Long Before This Tree Bares Fruit?
Your new olive will take 2-4 years to fruit. The darker toned purple color on the olives will let you know they are ripe and ready to be harvested. Olive trees are harvested in the fall, Oct-Nov.
Allow soil to come to an almost dry state between waterings and be sure not to oversaturate. Soil should be dry about 2" deep from the surface before the next watering.
Using a high nitrogen blend for fertilization would be ideal. We recommend a 17-6-10 time released formula for best results and ongoing feeding throughout the months. Prune your Olive tree at the leaf nodes to encourage new growth.
